The Purpose of EmployerRap

It's hard to find real-life information & insights on what employers and bosses are really like. Also, it's hard to share your experiences, feedback, frustrations, etc. anonymously.

We feel there's a need for greater transparency. This is especially important considering that we all spend most of our lives working for employers and bosses.

If you're an employee, job-seeker, analyst/researcher or just interested in what people think about their employers and bosses, EmployerRap is for you to share the truth!

What is EmployerRap?

EmployerRap includes 3 main sections:

Employer Reviews: Read or write reviews & ratings on employers and talk about the latest events, rumors,
and stories in the Water Cooler Talk.
Boss Reviews: Similar to Employer Reviews, but here you can read or write reviews on individual bosses for each employer.
Stories & Advice: Share stories about crazy bosses, wacky employers, and "special moments" in the office. Also, you can get
& give advice on how to deal with bosses and employers.

How do I write EmployerRap reviews?

Posting reviews and comments on your employer and bosses is easy and quick. Here are the 3 steps:
1. Register (this allows you to post reviews and messages).
Note: This will not reveal your identify; we protect your privacy. You will select a user name (your email address will stay private/confidential and not revealed to other users). You have the option of Verifying Your Affiliation (with an employer's email account) which will make your posts more credible and authoritative.
2. Search for the employer or boss to review.
We already have thousands of employers in our system, but if yours is not there, you can easily add it.
3. Write your review.
You can rate your employer across several dimensions such as Compensation, Vision & Direction, Culture & Atmosphere, and many more, and add your free-form comments and feedback. For bosses, you can give your Approval rating and evaluate their Competency and Leadership capabilities.
