There is nothing right about this place and I feel I made a huge mistake in taking up this job. There is total lack of communication between the management and the employees. Every department is like an island and there is a lot of politics going on here. The pay I get here is far below industry standards and the company keeps on promising that this will soon change but after hearing this number of times I do not have much faith in this. Also favoritism is rampant in all the departments and I am pretty frustrated with the present scenario.

There are good things and bad things about working in this company but unfortunately in the recent years the bad things are beginning to take over. The company is not moving with the times and the management needs to wake up to the fact that nowadays every company is trying to make the life of their employees comfortable. At State Farm Mutual Automobile I have been up against some male chauvinists who believe that women should be meek and demure and only do whatever they are asked to without asking too many questions. The company is really old school and conservative which means that we are still in the stone ages in the technology curve and the time it takes to implement something new here is extremely frustrating. State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company can be a suitable place for many to continue their jobs. I am quite contented to be a part of the company as it undertook several policies to take care of all its employees. Though some complain about the pay scale, but I think it is quite at par with the industry standards. But the performance levels of the IT staffs do not hit the mark at all. Moreover, there is not enough scope and challenge in this company, compared to other well known ones in the market. I feel that the performance expectations and the amount of work pressure in the company were not quite naturalistic.
