The Procter & Gamble is a stable company and it will take a lot to shake its solid foundation. I have been here for the last ten years and I cannot imagine leaving this place. I have seen many freshers grow into great proffesionals right here in front of my eyes. The pay is enough and I am comfortable with my job.

I have spent most of my life working at P&G and I will be retiring soon from this company. In all these years that I have spent here I have been through good times as well as bad times. When I joined I had a junior post and then with time I gradually got to a senior management position. I have to say that we had much more dedication in our work and somehow we also had a sense of loyalty for the company. The young people who are working here now only think of this place as their jobs and are always on the lookout for a better job so that they can leave.

I could have enjoyed my job at Procter & Gamble if only the management would let in some fresh air and allow us to breathe freely. The whole place is like a fortress where no one is supposed to become friends and there is no fun side to whatever we are doing here. The people who make the rules are very old and have no idea that the new age trend is to make a person feel happy and comfortable at his office. The pay I get here is also pretty low.

I am stuck with my job with The Procter & Gamble because my family is completely dependent on me. The management always says positive things but when it comes to implement those ideas no one is ready to take the first step. On top of that my job requires me to travel a lot and when I am not travelling I am working long hours. All this has damaged my personal life and made my family very unhappy. The company can also go for downsizing any time and the management has taken no steps to discuss this issue with us.

P&G is a huge company and working in such a reputed company comes with some problems. Getting noticed for your good work is certainly one of them. The organization is so big that you may end as a clog in the wheel. Some communication gaps are there as is bureaucratic which is quite normal for a company of this size and reputation. What I don??™t like is that switching between one department to another is not that easy and if you have been identified with one particular field, you have to very well spend the next couple of years in it.

The thing I enjoy most at The Procter & Gamble is that of constant change and as the company changes with time it also encourages us to constantly reinvent ourselves. The only thing that sometimes dismays me is the extreme corporate nature of the company which somewhat takes away the fun element of whatever we are doing leaving us all a bit disillusioned. The company though somehow makes up for this stifling nature by giving me a decent pay and offering some pretty good benefits. Also my coworkers are really good.
